Colchester SOS Bus on TV CH4 10pm

The programme ‘Party Paramedics’ tracked the SOS Bus workers and volunteers over a number of nights last summer. We hope this will be good publicity for Open Road and the SOS Bus which is currently seeking funding to continue its good work.

Golden Tours Open Top Conversion

We completed the Conversion of an Alexander Dennis to an open top sightseeing Bus. The roof was removed and made neat with safety bars. We installed new seats and repainted

Stansted Airport Bus 1

We completed the refurbishment of the 1st Stansted Airport Bus, and returned the vehicle to BAA. We look forward to more of these refurbishments as the client is happy about the work.

"Lidl Bit of Magic" Tour Starts

The Lid bus has started it's Tour.  It will be driven by us around the country to promote the Christmas promotions at Lidl. There is Santa's Grotto onboard so the kids can be cheered too.

N2O and Superdrug had us run a UK Tour that has ended today. This ran from as far as Edinburgh to Bristol & towns in between. With the bus returning to us for a rest before touring later

Kent Pharmaceuticals Signage

Kent Pharmaceuticals needed new signage and approached our Sign Department for their requirements. The sign was created and installed on site.

St John Ambulance :

St John have added to their fleet in Kent an ex police pursuit BMW 530 to train the drivers at high speed, we have competed the mechanicals and supplied and applied the new St John graphics, while Navman fitted there tracking and monitoring system, we wish them well with this new training aid.

Paul Lewellyn : PCD 80R

The Leyland National is well underway with its restoration, we are having to strip her to the bare bones to eliminate all the corrosion, Paul is aiming to have this single decker up and running by March next year, so all being well we will have this old girl looking young and sprightly once again, and maybe an excuse for Paul to write another book on these old busses.

Superdrug Revamp Completed

We have completed a refurb of the Superdrug bus with a new interior layout and furnishing on the Upper and Lower Decks. We have also completed a new paint job and Vinyls on the exterior

Faversham Historic Vehicle Weekend 21st-23rd May

Faversham is having an historic vehicle weekend with Vintage Buses Display on the Saturday and a Classic Car & Motorcycle Show on the Sunday.

Everybody is welcome and it is free to look around

Charlie Bus EAJ 679 new door installation

Bedford OB Charlie Bus EAJ 679 came in for a rebuild of the emergency door which was then repainted and professionally sign written with gold leaf.
