With over 150 years of combined experience, our craftsmen & coach builders are some of the most accomplished in the UK & our reputation for craftsmanship & reliability is well known in this very specialised area of work. We are passionate about the history of the vintage & classic vehicles & we take great pride in restoring them. You can see vehicles we’ve restored at various bus rallies & shows across the country.

Guy Arab GTR 484

The 1951 burnt out Guy Arab GTR 484 arrived at South East Coachworks, its final refurbishment destination in 2013. This historic bus has been completely refurbished & made roadworthy for proud owners- The members of the 222 Group of Southampton & District Heritage Trust. Almost all panels were re-fabricated & the whole flooring throughout the bus was replaced. The project was used to train the up & coming apprentice coach builders here at SEC & the project is now finally complete. It’s certainly one to be proud of!

Mini Harrington Coach

The Miniature Harrington Coach owned by Ray & Vanessa Field was painstakingly restored over several years here at South East Coachworks. The miniature coach was rebuilt & repainted and East Kent livery was even installed by SEC Signworks. The tiny seats were even trimmed in moquette!
